The best four regions will receive a bye into the elimination rounds, while the last place region's representatives will have to fight it out through the group stages.

The Southeast Asian region is protected from fifth place due to securing a bye into the semifinals by succeeding in Season 2. As such, their top-seeded team is already guaranteed entry into Season 3's World Championship elimination rounds.

well i wouldnt say that

the allstar teams are the best of the best and i think the lvl of each of them is equal
everyone knows how much they have to train
and i actually think that even NA has a chance if scarra improves his championpool

Is it just me or does the bracket look faulty?

4 teams in round 1, so the 2 losing teams drop down to loser bracket. But only one UB final with 3 teams involved? wuuuut?

I doubt it will be on Summoner's Rift AND them doing their usual playstyles.

I'm not sure, but I think that they made Howling Abyss just for this occasion. For 1v1 battles at all-stars. But technically it can work for top players and mid players, where its only about the mechanical skills with a certain champion. But junger isn't good, when he kills the opposing jungler. He needs to be where they need him and he needs to secure objectives and stuff like that. League of Legends is about team play and stuff, so 1v1 doesn't show everything... But it will be interesting :-3 .

I corrected it a bit, we don't have support for special brackets only normal single/double elimination format, should be a bit clearer the way it is now.

Don't underestimate the european team: It's Gambit without the 2 players that don't deserve being on the team (Genja and Darien), they got a chance.
SEA and NA don't have a single chance, too weak.
Korea and China both are not in full force: no faker and imp and no OMG players. But it will be interesting to see korean individual skill vs chinese teamplay.

Are you serious? Genja and Darien dont deserve to be on All-Star? I somehow understand sOAZ pick over Darien, but Genja? Do you actually think yellowpete is better than Genja? If we dont even take synergy into consideration Genja and CandyPanda and MUCH better skillwise than yellowpete who was picked only because of EG popularity.
SEA and NA no chance? Obviously they arent going there as favourites, but dont just count them off. SEA has 3 players who won S2 championship alongside 2 SGS players who is 2nd/3rd team from GPL.
Korea and china not in full force? no shy? if you had actually read the article, you would see that there IS SHY listed as Koreas toplaners. imp? i am not saying he is not good, but sending Pray there isnt a bad choice either. Pray has lots of internation experience, which imp lacks and it might be a deciding factor in these games. China no OMG players? Again, iG and WE players have more internation experience and are just as strong individual players as well. You seem to not understand that Korea and China is saturated with highly skilled individuals and even if all players were changed, lineup would be still strong.

1) soaz, wickd, kevin>darien (he himself said he is by far not the best top laner in EU)
2) SEA wont actually have a chance if TPA player still play as bad as they did what i dont think
3) NA is very strong this all star team is very good, but their only weakness is scarry who is underperforming but i think with enough training he can increase his championpool they actually have quite a good chance of winning
4) NA has to play against CN first who in my eyes are individually underperforming quite hard (especially WE)
5) KR all star team is just perfect (even tho i prefer Reapered over Shy)
6) I do actually think that Yolopete isnt the best one for Allstar team but i think he can handle the botlane together with Edward

7) This is an Allstar tournament and everyone of them has the same individuall level on their positions with some being a bit better than others in some points but all in all its about who can play better as a team in this period of time, who can become indiviually better, who can adapt to the enemy better and who can build up better strategies to win

1)No, I think yellowpete was a bad choice either, but Genja is underperfoming very hard, he only seems to play well on MF.
2) Season 2 is past. TPA is pretty weak right now and the other teams of GPL are plain joke.
3) Pray is not playing very well (actually Najin Sword as a whole it's not playing well), imp just carried two games against one of the strongest teams in Korea. Pray just played a few international games, this doesn't qualify him so much.
4) I miswrote, it's not shy, it's faker that needed to be on the kr all star. (although they didn't lose so much with Ambition)
5) OMG have amazing individual players, Lovelin deserved to be there.

This whole internacional experience factor is just plain bullshit. TPA came to WCS without playing against anyone before and won it. Fnatic never played against TPA before and crushed it on IPL 5.

South east asia is weak? they have a stronger team than EU and NA and I think they're on par with Korea.

Couldn't agree more. The reason SEA is underestimated because people don't have too much information about them and have no idea what are their strats, how their team fight so they think SEA teams are weak which is not.

SEA is very weak, you can't just say that S2 bs, TPA is the only good team, the rest is shit, and tpa is not playing well lately so they wont win

i think NA and EU have a slight advantage since they're not currently participating in their league games. We'll just have to see which region actually wants this more. Don't underestimate SEA. They still have a pretty good group. My bet is China to win this , hopefully everyone brings it and have a great time with each other.
